I see that you can't search forum threads if the Author name has a number in there.
Never had this issue before.

Error message is Only letters, hypens (-) and @ signs allowed for the Author

Such basic functionality missing is messing up the forum. I can't even search my own name or posts, lol. Hence my drastically reduced participation recently, or and most of the posts just being fake profiles fighting *yawn*

Its been awhile now that i cant search anything, not my old threads or comments or my own user name even.

The forum had a lot of history. Unfortunately all those old posts have disappeared as well.

Thank you for reporting this bug. The problem was fixed and searches for both "bbw4me" and "need4passion" now correctly display your posts.

Please note that our new search system will only index posts past 2020. We had to rip out and replace our 20 year old search system with a brand new "big data/big table" system. The forum now contains over a million posts, and it was starting to struggle. Forum searches started taking up 4 seconds, an eternity in internet time! This was also an attack surface that could be exploited by the continuous daily flood of hackers and scrapers, forcing us to rip out all old code.

You'll note that forum searches now take less than a second to complete. We'll slowly extend the search-system indexing to include earlier years if the system/cpu/memory allows us to do so.
