I'm not one to rant publicly on a forum, but recently things have gotten a bit out of hand

It has become increasingly difficult to secure a booking. From advertisers not answering calls or messages, to making pre-bookings, to pre-bookings not being honored or cancelled last minute. Or even just replying to a simple question.

I don't know, maybe I'm just getting too old for this shit

I am with you on this one , if not scammers, then excuses, I always firmly believed in treat people the way you want to be treated. I am going to spit it out, the ladies/WG's must get rid of that entitlement mentality, thinking they hold the trump card, their kitty. we have many options , they have a client.

We try our best to never cancel a booking.

It's not easy to wrangle but venues and girls have to realize that without clients, there is no business. Make the effort and make the client feel like he is worth the effort.

@Sgorilla I second this! The ladies come here and complain that business is slow but then have this behaviour!

Hate to burst your bubbles ..... Some ladies go through the same! Well.... almost.
Cancellations, being messed around by punters and then missing out on other bookings, the list goes on!

Punting has definitely changed in the last couple of years! Very few stick to their word or honours bookings anymore!

Punting blows!!! (Not in the fun way anymore)

@Milo49

100% agree. Hence this whole issue with pre-bookings. Punters have multiple pre-booking because there is a good chance that you will be dropped at the last minute leaving you with your dick in your hand. The ladies reciprocate with multiple bookings and pick who they will prefer. The dude who gets the short end of the stick, gets "can I reschedule you for tomorrow"

Before at a venue that does not advertise on this platform. It was easy to get a booking and I only ever had one cancelation in 10 years. Now the receptionist can't even tell you who is available for the day without a long to and fro and multiple phone calls.

Hell, perhaps business is so good that they are giving the big four banks a run. Hence they treat their clients the same way.

Sgorilla...

Your post deserves acknowledgement simply because unlike the rest of punters who post complaints and then claim ladies advert is down or they shan't name and shame...At least here one has an understanding as to what is happening, is shared in a constructive manner (playing the ball and not the person) and hopefully once your review is read by the establishment , matters shall be dealt with and overall better arrangements taken care of.

And true....

Many dicks out there that have cost many a SP her right to earnings making it a viscious circle at present moment.

Where has the respect and value of this space gone to and WHY has it deteriorated?

Can one put the blame on the SP's door

Or

Is it the punters?

I have a notion ...and it favors the punters .

I get cancelled on last minute , often they don't even cancel they just don't pitch.

It goes both ways. I pay to advertise and I take my work and clients seriously . But I'm getting real tired.
Clients literally book and confirm with you then they continue shopping around and change their mind on the lady when she's already getting ready and setting that time aside for you.

Karma I believe may happen in such cases ....we all get what we deserve !

I realise it must be frustrating, but I only ever cancel if I'm not well or have a genuinely emergency. If I cancel because I'm sick it's because I'm either worried it's contagious like flue, or that I'll give a lacklustre experience. I'll rather lose the business than waste a client's time and money by giving less than 100%.

You're 100% spot on. Punting has gotten extremely more difficult over the years. Getting a booking is more difficult with longer delays in responses or no responses at all. Ladies are almost never available when they show as available and even advance bookings are often cancelled. Even the established venues will tell you on the day that the lady you booked two weeks ago didn't pitch for work today or her kid got sick or something happened at school etc.

There's not a day that goes by that I don't hear about a punter in my inner circle that got stood up after clearing hectic work diaries for the WG or even already on the way to the booking. I think it's been mentioned before that punters are even making double bookings now to secure a punt in the set time weeks in advance and often even both of those will cancel last minute. Oh and enquiries, now you ask 4 ladies if they're available at a certain time because the response rate is so low or delayed that if you ask one or two, chances are flippen high that you won't even punt because you may only get a response well after the desired punting time. With the proliferation of online content and other scams and the ease of money from it, there's much less dedication to this "job" so to speak.

Crazy times we punting in.
