Mark as spam option on ESA

Hi gents and ladies
Anyone knows what happens when you elect the "Mark as spam" option in the PM system on ESA?
Does it work like WA? The person is blocked from sending you messages? Can you unblock them again later? Does the sender see they are marked as spam or they're blocked to send PM's to you? If anyone has used it before please advise.
Maybe ESA admin can just clarify please? I want to use this option but not sure exactly how it works.

Dear Ladies and Gentleman
If a specific sender sent too many spam messages, and if multiple different people reported him, all his future messages are silently dropped. The spammer will become a ghost in the PM system. A person cannot see if you've marked them for spam.

I clicked it by mistake instead of reply on a forum buddy. The message just disappeared into the black hole. I couldn't see it or find it to actually reply. Disappeared on his side too. Luckily he wondered what happened and resent it but now we know. Even tried to navigate back in browser pages to get back to it but it vanished. Would be nice if if went into a spam folder.

Just one more question. So can the sender still send more messages to me from the moment I mark her as Spam?
I gather this is not a "Block" option and the sender will still be able to send future messages to me?

Guess the above question will go unanswered. Will just have to test the functionality then and see what happens.
