The big strike will be on the 7th of October.

So no transactions will be happening on this days...if you wanna punt on this dates make sure you have the cash for it please gentlemen.

Banking strike or bonking strike?

According to the article they plan to cut off the replenishment of cash to the ATMs. The banking back end is not affected. So you should be able to do a cash withdrawal from cashiers in stores that permit cash withdrawals.

I always withdraw in time. Touch wood ;)

Good point.

Though I'm imagining so many long queues in those stores and the majority would be men. And you wonder if these men are your fellow punters.

The phones go crazy and everyone looks at their handsets to see the number of an SP calling to check what's taking one so long.
