I have a lot to say about a lot of things. I have learnt that sometimes one has to choose your battles. Just because I think something doesn't mean I have to say it. At other times I regret not speaking up when I had the chance.

Nadia, I always look out for your posts. I appreciate your open honesty and admire your life experience, knowledge and intellect. You talk a lot of sense i.m.h.o.
In terms of the question asked by Fiona, I also choose my battles. Some arguments are not worth getting involved in.

Depends on what you are reacting to. Sometimes people say things or orchestrate things to elicit a reaction. In that case keeping quiet will probably be best. Not every action deserves a reaction. Just sit still for a while and often you will find that a situation doesn't need a reaction ... easier said than done.... it also gives you a chance to weigh up the situation. In my personal situation I have often thought Nadia you fucked up, dont react or you would be burying yourself even deeper.
