I really do not want to create a race discussion with this post.

However, it amuses me that all the darker skinned ladies that I have visited are much darker skinned in the flesh than on their photos. Do the photographers really think that they will get more clients if they look lighter. It makes no difference at all to me.
But it reminds me of a song from the sixties that went
Tell me tell me tell me why
I want to know the fact
That all the black people want to go white
and the shite people want to go black

Yes well i agree with you , i have also seen this numerous times when i visit . But thats how it goes sometimes im not sure if the WG is what race ,if i can add something why is most only english aswell , mabye add zulu or xhosa to their language part aswell so we know ..All the ladies that did not add their language can mabye do it ...

Yes language is also important. I prefer South African ladies in general. I try to avoid Asian and European (from Europe) because I like to be more certain that they have not bee trafficed in any way. So those who advertise English and Afrikaans are better for me. I expect that light skinned ladies who only speak English are from somewhere else.

I can't speak for anybody else but my photographer always asks me to view the test shot to check colour. I had this problem once where I appeared lighter but the thing with being coloured is that we come in lily-white to pitch black.

I don't think you'll get an answer from the ladies or the photographers, but my assumption is that since airbrushing and/or photoshop is not allowed, the photographers rely on the light for the pictures to be more visually appealing. The lighter appearance is probably not intentional but unavoidable. There are also ladies whose melanin really "pops", and judging by their pics it looks like they apply something to their skin prior to the shoot to give it that glow.

True, the photographer or i can say my photographer always ask me if am happy with the color. I always ask het that my skin colour is as dark as possible because my skin is not close to light. And it works for me

Well I for 1 can answer that based on my personal experience. I tan. Simple. I have a beautiful honey coloured tan more on the darker side in summer. Still fading as we go into winter. By mid July august much lighter. By October I am pale. And yes lighting also effects how fair or dark my pics turn out e.g my current profile to my previous profile.

I have the exact same issue, it's very difficult to tell them apart and I don't cross the race line. Have been caught many times thinking the girl was white but have learned now from experience how to tell. Some things cant be hidden.

It is not an issue with me - just an amusement - a chance fantastic fh encounter with a mg of mixed race whom I had visited for a massage cured me of most of the racism I might have had and other encounters in the purple valley have cured me of any residual.
