Dangerous technology. AI deepfakes have been around for some time now.
Many celebrities have been the victim of deepfakers. Remember the TAYLOR SWIFT porn pics on Twitter/X in January 2024? One of those pics was viewed over 47 million times! It remained live for 17 hours before it was taken down. Good job Mr. Twitter.
The video below is quite scary really. How many times have you or I watched something that was deepfake, totally fabricated, and we had no idea whilst watching?
Never before have we had access to so much information like we do in this age of technology ... But, there is also much misinformation (unintentional) and so much disinformation (intentional) out there.
Please take the personal responsibility to always practise DISCERNMENT at all times.
