They were enjoying the last of the evening dine.

It had been an evening of "interested to know what makes u tick" sort of eve. A serious man, a very serious man.

"Like u," She said pausing."Respectfully forthright. Is that not the best way?"

He smiled and said nothing.

The way he lounged in his chair made it possible for one of his feet to rest between hers...she loved the subtle tactile intimacy between them, his now and again lightly touching her hand.
