Most will say charity begins at home, but what if you didn't have a home? A local homeless shelter has been doing their part for the homeless. They opened their hearts and beds for many when needed. I personally has seen the efforts and length they go to. And today a woman that was kicked out of her home, pregnant and with no family, has a roof over their heads, a job and food. Because they did what most didn't.

Please donate anything you can. I have and today I am putting aside R100 of each booking for them. No, it isn't just today that I do it, but my meagre donations are but a drop in the ocean to them.

A nice opportunity for some of us to earn a charity badge.....

If ESA approves, I would like to donate.

Agree....ESA should look at 67 Punters..MG's..WG's and Venues to contribute R500 towards a charity of their choice and upon receiving a proof of payment award the relevant Punter..WG..MG or Venue a Charity badge...

30k could go a long way...

Thank you gents, but I am not looking for a badge. I will only want to know that the MES centre can continue the good deeds they are doing daily. That to me is reward enough.

So many centres start out with all the right intentions, but if they don't get the support they need, it is not long that their doors are closed.

Agree, most people will not require a badge but it would e a good motivation for people to contribute for the right purpose...remember 67 contributions would be ideal, so having a carrot might help....
