Hi everyone,

So this is a little different from the usual threads but I just had to share the exciting & unexpected news I received yesterday...
As you all know I am nearly six months pregnant and the last five ultrasounds revealed one baby but yesterday I went for my sixth ultrasound and the gynaecologist turned to me after only a few seconds and said "it's twins!"

I was in shock, obviously!
That was the last thing I expected to hear. Apparently the one baby was hiding behind the other the whole time until now.

I have been planning for one and with only three months to go I discover I need to start planning for two!

Well, how is that for an unexpected surprise? :-)

You can contact the South African Multiple Birth Association for help. Moral and emotional support. Practical pointers and they used to have a "samaritan" corner too. All the best, xMx

It's very good news but can also be very scary... double the cost... I kept all my grand daughters clothes since one year old... if it's a girl or both girls... let me know... obviously not new stuff but in very good condition... good luck
