I was just woken by an extremely disturbing dream,
My daughter and I are constantly running from men shooting at us trying to kill us. One of the shooters is my brother in a red car.
Just as we feel we safe we are surround by lots of armed men, i hold her, tell her I love her and just as they come closer I wake up..

Does anyone here understand the meaning?
Can anyone interpret it?
Please comment

My view on the matter is that the best person to interpret a dream is none other than the dreamer themselves. If you have a general awareness of your thoughts and emotions during your waking hours, you will generally have no trouble extending this to awareness and understanding of what happens to you in your sleep.

This practice of maintaining awareness of your general state of being is commonly referred to mindfulness and has become quite popular and for good reason. It takes time and practice in order to get a grip on it, but it's well worth the effort and one of the benefits is that you not need anyone to help you deal with yourself.

There are those that have tried to provide a general interpretation of what various dreams mean but my own observation is that in most cases, they are worse than useless. I hope that helps

Dreams of being chased can have several meanings:

-Wanting to escape from something in your waking life

-Feelings of guilt

-you are avoiding an issue or person in your waking life

The fact that your brother is present in the dream and is a shooter may be something you need to explore more.

A car in a dream may mean that your path in life is in conflict with another person's path.

The colour red means agression.

How is your relationship with your brother?
Is he perhaps unhappy with your life style or choices?

I know dreams can be unsettling at times and may bother a person for days. It is normally the result of an internal conflict that you are avoiding or supressing and it is your brain's way of trying to sort out the 'mess' that conflicting thoughts are causing.

My analysis is that it has something to do with your relationship with your brother. Perhaps even the relationship your brother has with your daughter.

@Dinky Toy,strangely i do have a a hectic relationship with my brother because of what I do. We don't speak at all because he feels God will punish me.
