I was having one hell of a day only finished of work at 7pm
decided not to go straight home and drove to the beach front in dbn and just sat wanting to unwind, few street wg walked past and you know how they act when they see men alone in the car,
A cop walks past and asked me wat I was doing here the proceeded to get me out of my car and search me and the car
Can they just do a search if they suspect anything?

Yes, a cop can search you. As soon as you say 'get a warrant' they will arrest you anyway. By law, cops can lock you up for 48 hours without charging you with anything. Best thing to do is be calm and civil, let them search and carry on.

Police search cars often, nothing out of the ordinary.
I've been stopped at roadblocks and they ask to open my boot etc
I have no problem with that, I have no illegal guns, or drugs.
They can search a car anytime they like.
