Hi everyone

I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but since there are so many newbies online all the time I thought it would be valuable to put this information out there again.
As we all know, we have been in an increasingly tough economic climate for a while...1 April saw a vat increase as well as a hefty fuel increase....both having an effect on everything else we consume.
Ladies phones are not ringing and some have daily room fees to pay...amongst other expenses....some feel desperate and answer a "private number" call in the hope of getting business even though she has CLEARLY stated on her add she doesn't answer calls with no number visible. But because it's the first time the phone has rung she takes a chance.
The reasons most ladies don't answer these calls are varied....the main reason I feel is SAFETY...ladies are allowed as I'm sure some of you are aware to share, privately, numbers of client's who've done various things from not paying for a service already provided to theft and even rape, so other ladies can perhaps be protected from having the same experience.
I'm sure other ladies will share their reasons for not taking these calls so gents PLEASE understand we have VALID reasons and it's not to make your lives difficult, but to ensure our safety.
I'm sure some gents will come back with a lady has called him on his number without his permission and a host of other stories and I am sincerely sorry some ladies don't have good business ethics, I can only speak for myself when I say I NEVER call or message a client unless he's called or messaged first and only save numbers of clients who've requested I do so.
I received a private number call earlier and explained nicely why I don't take these calls and to please call back from a shown number. The phone was put down in my ear and hasn't rung since.
Please understand this can be a very risky work space for ladies and we must at all times put our safety first, hence have certain rules in place.

Some punters are just idiots. My cheapie phone at Pep is R80 which is my punting phone.

And even if they don't want to have a extra phone, spare sim cards are like 99cents each.

I totally agree, private numbers also hardly actually keep an appointment. I have had strange calls and messages today and it actually unnerves me..

Tell me about it,I declined a booking.Only to be stood up by a private number caller,he even called for a second time to say he was on his way.such a jerk

Yes the play incredible games don't realise how it affects your whole day.

I can understand why ladies will only answer when the number is showing.
Safety is important.

Simple solution girls...why is this so hard?

Answer the call politely. When he asks for your details, politely tell him that you don't give details or make bookings on private numbers. Ask him to please call you back on his number or even Whatsapp you as a matter of your safety. If they refuse, politely thank them for calling...end of call.

Desperation is no reason to take the humiliation and aggravation of being stood up and possibly being hurt or worse...you are trusting them to come into your space with your body in the most vulnerable act of human intimacy...the least they can do is give you an ounce of security with their number. Admittedly, every client is a risk, but try to cover your ass as much as possible. Money is not worth putting yourself in danger or the humiliation of being stood up because you took a chance. Any guy not willing to let you have his number should ring big clear alarm bells for you to begin with.

Also agree with VF. I used a lot of times just the private number, too many hustle to change the sim all the time. But if the lady answer and I want to make a booking, I gladly change the sim and call back if she prefer it that way.
