Nah, it's just that camera ESA photographers use. It's known to brighten up a few shades on the skin and shaves few decades of the age. Cool little gadget, can even undo mommy tummies.

I've worked with a lot of top photographers.
Photography was invented taking pictures of white people.
It takes special lighting, techniques and post production to take really amazing pics of black skin.
Not everybody has the skill. But also, having lived in SA for a few years, I can't help but wonder if photographic requests are for lighter skin.
We see all these skin lightening creams and skin lightening make-up (while all the whites are tanning and using fake tan).
My black friends says that they find lighter black skin or the much much darker central African end of the spectrum more attractive.
Happy to be contradicted.

The camera setting to lighten skin is even available on my phone.
As can noticed on the girls' profiles, certain body parts such as elbows, seem not to lighten to the same extent than other body parts.
