Quite tight security. Your lady will give you a code to enter.
Drive up into visitors gate, security scans your driver licence and car license and then you punch the code in and in you go.
From there she must explain to how to get to her unit. It is a maze of apartments. Very up market.

Off topic, but always been keen to know exactly what info is in the scanned code and or the database behind that. There was speculation years ago that the security companies bought the databases containing the data behind our ID/car registration numbers.

Analogous to that would be that a product code at Pick n Pay just says 60012345612345, and if you scan the product that's what it reads, BUT behind that in PnP's database is all the costing and pricing and stock levels etc. Behind my car number is a wealth of data, which might actually be encoded in the 2D barcode or in the AARTO database.

So I wonder what the security at a complex or mall actually gets access to when they can my licence?

I have "visited" at The William a few times. As Cock described, security is tight, but as long as you have an entry code from the person you are visiting, it is quick and painless as you do not need to say where you are going and because it is such a large complex, I felt quite "anonymous" to be honest. Once you are in, there is plenty of parking and you use the same code to get out.
Pretty sure l know who you are visiting, in which case it is worth the entry...

I am in sales so scanning my id and driver licence is part of day... No problem for me.
