Punting in the Jhb

So I'm new to Johannesburg and there are some places I want to visit.. is the Westrand safe to punt? What areas should I avoid? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I will be back at my usual venue in Ruimsig/Westrand on Monday the 18th it's safe private and discreet. You definitely can't go wrong. However font take my word for it the proof is in the eating of the pudding. In the meantime read through my reviews for for an idea of what to expect.
