A word of wisdom.
A website doth not a business make.
In fact, it's hardly ever worth the cost of design at the end of the day.
It's the truth. E-marketing is just a crock of shit.

@jonnys, While I agree with your statement that a website in itself does not make a business successful, I disagree that e-marketing and by extension a website, is a waste of time and money.
Where people make the mistake is that they think that once you have a website, you can sit back and it will automatically increase sales/business by itself. It will not.
Just like anything in life, what you put into your online business presence, is what you will get out, but it takes time, before your will see concrete results. You need to do proper SEO as well as regular e-marketing to help you to climb your way up the rankings. Good quality backlinks and frequent content updates are also beneficial. If you are not tech savvy to do that yourself, then you should employ a reputable person or company to do that for you.
