I have met some incredible women on this website. A few years ago the love of my life broke my heart and it has taken a while to get over it. I decided in June that I will stop punting at the end of this year and put myself back out there - dating I mean. So three and a bit more months to go and I find myself asking..
Am I going to meet a sexier woman with a better mind than Veronica or a woman who smells better than Paige or a woman who stares through me like Foxi or sex on legs like Joy or a mouth like Arizona's or someone as special as Radiant Robyn. Maybe I shouldn't quit. Maybe at 38 I need to accept that the sum of my relationships is this. Maybe I should just resign myself to the fact that I am never going to find the one but I have found the many and that is okay.

Frank the problem is that by having a huge selection of amazing wgs who ultimately become more like friends /lovers than service providers each encounter makes it more difficult to then find the ONE in the "real" world as that person will unfortunately be compared in your mind exactly as you have described i.e. Will she have Veronica's mind Joys legs etc in almost all cases she will fall short in one maybe a few categories.

The main difference I have found is that dating is more fun in that my heart gets involved for better or worse.

That jolt that sparks your heart when she sends an SMS .
That smile you get when you see something that reminds you of her.
That thrill you get when you buy her a gift no matter how small or insignificant.

I for one will always continue looking for THE ONE .

Nobody is the complete package just like no one working girl is best at everything. Continue to see the wonderful ladies but don't stop looking for a potential partner. You never know whom you may cross paths with and what it Will turn into. Timeframes only add to the stress live a little and keep an open mind things tend to fall into its place.

@frankstar.....Why speak as though you are about to leave this world and may never get a chance of winning? A moment of despair or weakness leads you to such negativity and heartache at that tender age? That shouldn't mean that you can't or will not find more than what your soul desires. That person is out there somewhere.

Fairytale or not! Give yourself enough time (if that's the route you want take) that person will come when you least expect it. Just keep your eyes and ears open. Bliss is what you truly need no matter where you find it.

I have found that when you "look" for a potential partner, that is when you pick up the worst people. Dont look, enjoy life as is and when the time is right a person will enter your life and knock your socks right off, amongst other things. Good luck!
