Came across a website for an exclusive courtesan in uMhlanga, Durban. Her rates for a "concierge girlfriend experience" - R10000 for the first hour. She calls it a "sneak preview" lol . R15000 for 2 hours and so on. For 10 hours you would pay R50000 and for 24 hours - an eye-watering R80000 !! Which I must add is "negotiable" lol.

Now at first glance blasting this kinda cash might sound insane but it got me thinking: I don't have that kinda spare cash ( YET!!! lol ) but if I did would I blast it on a single experience? I suppose the appeal would be the exclusivity. At those rates it would almost be guaranteed that you would be the only guy she sees for that day or even a few days.

With the amount of Lambos, Ferraris, Bentleys etc on the streets of Durban's northern suburbs I wont be surprised that there would be plenty of guys who can drop that kinda cash without thinking much of it.

Would you spend that kind of money on a single experience if you had it?

Like Valintina said once, for people who earn normal salaries, a few hundred Rands may be nothing, for someone who is a millionaire, he may not feel spending thousands, and then the billionaire will not feel anything spending a few million. All about perspective.

Having said this, I must add if I was a multi-millionaire or sitting on Gupta's I'll gotten billions, I'd only spend that money if the lady is a perfect 10, literraly one of the most beautiful women in the world.

I do not agree with Valentina's opinion that those with more money would drop the cash for something like that! They are wealthy for a reason and would have the same reservations as the average man. No self made man would make a stupid decision with money unless it was something he could play with long term like a Ferrari. Besides, he could probably get his pick of gorgeous women because he has cash to splash and she wouldn't be an exclusive wg, she'd be a model or celeb. If he does dip his stick in forbidden wares, he would more then likely look for an average wg at a slightly higher rate then the rest.

Wealthy men are rarely wreckless with money unless they are gamblers, as in casino gamblers. I've encountered a few and they look at us pretty much the same as the average punter!

The above does not apply to the nouveau riche, as can be seen from our tenderprenuers in this country. They don't know how to handle wealth and it's all about conspicuous consumption.

Good example is a neighbour down the road from me. Tenderprenuer. Changes sport cars every 6 months. His wife literally retiles the house and redoes entire kitchen once a year. They moved in 2012 and same cycle every year. They spend the money becoz they can and probably they don't think of the future.

If I was a guy with that type of cash to spend I would do it just once for bragging rights lol.

Thanks all for your responses. Come to think of it if i were to be super rich ( correction when i am super rich lol ) i would rather keep a low profile unlike the aforementioned tenderpreneneurs. As Ms VF said (most) of the self made wealthy tend to be sensible with money. Except for tenderpreneursof course. Think im rather gonna spoil the lovely ladies here on ESA.
