I have noticed a lot of comments over the last few months about how some ladies don't use all the platforms available to them on ESA.

Lack of response to private message, not many ladies using the live chat option and a select group of the same ladies making use of the forum. And recently complaints about ladies marketing themselves negatively by posting the same stuff over and over again. Some ladies post on the public forum instead of the private ladies forum, and vice versa, because they haven't been educated in knowing there is a difference between the forums?

I think there are various reasons for this happening. Firstly when new ladies sign up on ESA. The photographer takes their pics, loads their ad and they are given a username and password. Unfortunately the photographers don't have the time to sit and explain exactly how ESA can actually help their business if they made use of all the platforms it has to offer.

A lot of the ladies are not even aware of the platforms available to them.
When ESA first launched the chat function Vee and I were lucky enough to be working at a venue called Fun4Two. They set up a computer chat room for the ladies and we were all encouraged and shown how to use this function.

I know some of the ladies are also not computer literate or don't have access to a computer so this is also maybe why they don't use the functions ESA has to offer. But I am sure most have a smartphone so although they may not be able to use the chat function they would be taught how to use the other platforms like the forum and PM system.

I made a suggestion to Eddie a few weeks ago about perhaps offering training to all the ladies on the great value that ESA and its functions could add to their business. Also to perhaps train them in telephone etiquette, marketing, general advice, safety and basic guidelines to managing their business in this industry in a professional manner.

Perhaps Venues could invest in computers for the ladies to use during working hours to promote their business using all the great platforms ESA has to offer.

I did chat to Eddie about offering this service to the ladies
and we had some concerns.

I would like to get some feed back from the ladies and gents if you think this would be a viable service to offer.

Perhaps maybe monthly also do a meet and greet for new members joining and offer an introduction course to new punters that sign up on ESA showing them all the functions that are available.

Any ladies that attend the training could perhaps be given a "badge" reflecting that they attended the ESA training which might reassure clients that she has made an effort to improving her business. Although, obviously, ESA cannot be responsible if the ladies don't use the training and apply it in their the business.

What do you think?

Wow Arizona this will benefit punters and girls.

Dont forget to add hygiene and medical check ups for both punters and girls.

Maybe be also a small guide book few pages that esa can sell to new listing...... Like a guide menu.

This will really help this whole Purple community.

Your are awesome !

Very good idea Arizona and @ the very same time its very challenging,,,,,
starting from resources ie computers, furniture, stationery i mean the list is long, not unless if they will be sponsores but coming to think of the economy it can be a big challenge that is suggestion,
We have not talk about tutors or maybe we can get volunteers ofwhich i would not mind to be one of, still it doeznt end there we also need to be lectured about health and safety, just suggestions,

and for training i just wonder if its gonna work we should not forget that our work is flexi hours and time is money,

I think perfect people are photographers,,,,,

Please correct me if I am not in the boat.

Why doesn't esa rather print up a manual/user guide and include it in the initial cost and setup of each girls profile?

Furthermore, there are girls in this industry that are here simply out of laziness (one girl at a house I used to work at threw her toys out the cot one day ranting along the lines of that very point)

Then there are the girls that work at houses that could cause serious harm to her own as well as the house reputations by saying the totally wrong things. It is not always a case of learning to use the features but also, as you say, marketing skills etiquette etc. That is not something that can be taught easily in a session or two and I think would be detrimental to a girls business rather then a plus.

Then there is the subject of confidence and conveying a message correctly which few seldom get right and in turn, the pack wolves tuck into them both on the forums and comments sections. It takes balls to be on this forum, balls which even I struggle to keep without betraying the essence of who I am. I have seen girls come and go, but even when I've suggested they come onto the forum or try to be interactive, they cower away not wanting to be put in that kind of scrutinising spotlight. It can be soul destroying and daunting and even has the danger of one destroying ones own business.

Then there would also be the issue of the forums etc becoming busier, inundated with more specials and esa probably having to employ more staff to control the lot and keep it all in check.

Overall, I think it would cost esa much more and it could even mean the end of a small group of girls having favor over the rest (not a bad thing) from the punters. Then again, very few ladie's would actually take the initiative anyway.

And even with a smart phone, internet costs are very high in SA, more so when one is not tech savvy, like myself. I know it seems like very little to some but it's a lot to most, especially when people struggle more and more each day. It costs money to make money and if you have very little expendable income, logging onto a site and wasting your data is an expense few can afford.

Every wg I know has a smart phone to navigate the site just not everyone chooses to participate in forums, chats and other fuctions available.I think the site is designed so easy that even a child knows what to do.

Medical awareness as Lala suggested seem good.

On point there Brandy. But medical etc should be the responsibility of the individual. Let's not make this a nursery school. We are all consenting adults with all the knowledge of the world at our fingertips. We all know the risks etc.

I would have to agree Veronica a number of people choose not to use the platforms for reason of there own. I know a number of vetran ladies that give a exceptional service that choose not to use the forum for reasons mentioned by Veronica. In fact i know some that dont advertise with ESA because guys are allowed to post inane irrelavant comments on there profile. I too go through these phases where I don't post.

As far as the badge goes let's say for eg. A established working girl chooses not to go for training she doesn't get a badge does that mean that the lady with the badge is now more liable to be booked than a established lady that just chooses not too, I believe the standard of service is more important than trading on how to use the platforms (maybe that's just me). No mater how many training sessions there will always be those pack of wolves waiting to attack.

Then also there is the language barrier thing how will this affect training. Will training be given in all official south African languages? How will this be dealt with?

It makes a lot of business sense. Whilst at that, someone needs to educate the Vereeniging crew as they keep flooding the recents page.
