Really this is now pathetic. I used to be excited to go on to the forum and read posts.

Now it just is a total turn off ... To scared to say anything because my head mighty be bitten off. But enough is enough, we are not children behave like adults.

The fighting on the forum nowadays, is very mild compared to how it used to be years ago...lol

A public forum is the perfect outlet for people. It is the place where they can vent and give voice to their egos and frustrations. As we all know, things are not easy out there in the real world nowadays, not for punter nor for service provider, so it is only natural that as things get worse, as people get more stressed, there will be more drama on the forum...

To be in this industry, one needs to have a very thick skin, if one is to survive in one piece.

So don't let it put you off using the forum Mia. You are here to make money and promote yourself, not to make friends. So continue to interact and if you get attacked, don't take it personal, see it for what it is (a sorely needed ego boost, stress induced or competitor related), pity your attacker for having to resort to attacking you to feel better and let it be like water off a duck's back.

It used to be unmoderated Mia. Men were able to call us names like 'stupid cunts' and people used to degrade each other to no end. Nothing was off limits and things sometimes got so bad that people would get hurt, stalked, threatened etc. Sibyl and I were both there with many other current forum users and advertisers. Myself and Sibyl even had goes at each other (me more then her of coarse as shes always been more level headed and calm) but today, she's someone I respect and for the most part, agree with. The fights will always come and go, but what matters is what we take away from the experiences and the bonds we forge with practical strangers. Don't be discouraged! It is a scary place and you are doing just fine!

So my advice would be to follow Sibyls advice. She is indeed a wise woman with much knowledge to share with us all, lol.

Stay just as you are lady!

Was much more activity from the ladies side. Miss the old forum I must add.

While on Fighting... I am so sick and tired of people knocking on my door asking for donations.. Just had a woman from the sperm bank, boy did I give her a mouthful...

Maybe you should follow Sibyls advice Veronica and stop fighting with everyone. Only this week you had a fight with Ashleigh, Shakira, Orpheus, Paige, not to mention all the anti-Veronica's. If they dare disagree with your view, or dare taking part in a thread that you derailed, and claimed as your own, you turned into a bitch. Then you try to come back as Mother Theresa to help the single moms. Fantastic gesture, but if you want to play Mother Theresa, you need to act like her too.

@virtual1980 thank you, with old age comes tolerance...lol

@ Mia, only a pleasure.

@Veronica,very well put. True we sure did have a good go at each other a few times on the forum hey...lol, but we never took it personal, well I didn't take it personal.

I have to say though that thinking back to our clashes sure brings a big fat smile to my face. Through our clashes we got to know each other a bit better and mutual respect was gained.

@Curt, yip gotta say I miss the old forum as well, especially the interesting discussions and many laughs we had - the forum used to be my favorite spot to unwind.
