Where oh where to start?....

I guess I should start by saying I'm totally new to this whole scene. I am a very reserved person who struggles to make conversation, especially in large groups. However, once you get to know me well, you will find that, at heart, I'm a very caring and passionate person, despite my introverted nature and a few other quirks

For months, I have trawled different dating sites in the hopes of quelling this all-consuming feeling of loneliness I bear each day due to the nature of my personality, history, and line of work, but, honestly speaking, the dating sites in this country leave much to be desired!

I cannot adequately relay the feelings I had when I discovered this site today, but it was a mixture of overwhelming excitement and happiness, and a healthy dollop of trepidation, since I am a complete rookie when it comes to this world. Here's why:

1. I'm a virgin, and apart from one short-lived fling with someone with ill intent, have no relationship experience with girls whatsoever
2. I have no idea what to expect with regards to the cost of these services, and quite frankly, I am not amongst the Scrooge McDucks of this world (I earn under R4500 per month)
My family looks down upon services like these, and tried to instill this feeling in me during my upbringing (it would seem however that loneliness and curiosity helped me to overcome this)

Other reasons:
I don't know what WG stands for
I don't know if condoms are compulsory (I hope not ;) )

I didn't mean to offend anybody with that, I was just genuinely curious. Having had no "encounters" with women in the past, I imagine I'm free of any nasties. If condoms are a non-negotiable here though, then that's fine by me :)
