From a Capetonian's opinion, Green point is a good option. Close to the beach, main roads, highways, restaurants, etc.
I worked from there for a bit last year and had tons of fun.
Just bear in mind Cape winter loves the wind, clouds, mist and rain *covering my face* LOL
