If you haven't been in a while... VIP is basically -
1. A glorified normal access pass with closer parking (who even drives when attending a festival)
2. An area with enough seating for 20 people, yet they cram 50 in there and hope for the best.
3. Still have to que with the normal folks for the bathrooms (ladies, when you know you know)
Buy hey, one positive is that atleast you have easier access to a bar... You're going to need it lols.
Point Im trying to make is to rather go vvip or dont go at all.
Unless you're 20 and into this sort of thing...
Use it, don't use it ;)

However Cape Town doesn't have a VVIP area ( if that's where I end up )
That said , the energy of the event is on the main dance area and these VIP / VVIP areas are mainly for chilling out , sitting your ass down for a bit , and a hydration station .... and also for those a bit apprehensive to venture into the crowds ..but in short to catch your breath back.
I guess I will take it in the stride of the vibe ... but in saying that , I might take your advise and consider it .
My first sign was on the hip hop floor at h2o when what looked like a 16year old tried to hit me up.
2nd sign was at calabash.
But I think you @durbanguy just sealed the deal for me. It was magic :) But I really truly am over it... Thank you for the clarity haha.

I reckon you might want to avoid the after party, or even booking them the next day, the also need time to wind down and recover, probably you as well.

Either way my 1 comment could not in anyway have tipped your scale ... So don't put it on me.

To answer your 1st question dear Durban guy, Angie over here, is a total sucker for punishment, and sometimes it requires a strong opinion from someone to remind her that she was indeed wrong for not trusting that initial gut feeling,Again,and just giving things/people/situations a rest! Let's blame it on a total lack of inner dialog, especially when a bit impaired if you know what I mean. By the time the babelas is gone, She completely forgets and BOOM... Where's the party at again lols.
