I have found many take them off. I've had several guys leave and come back cos they left their wedding ring on the bedside table. One was even convinced I must've stolen it cos he swore he left it on the table. He found it in his pocket later but I refuse to see him ever again.
I actually don't know why a punter would take off his ring. I work on the premise that every punter is married, so what's the big deal?
We had a client from Dubai visit before his flight left later that day ... the wedding ring got left behind and we had to get the ring to Dubai in the same time it took him to get there. It cost us a lot of money and effort but we pulled it off.
The general rule here is that we scan the client to be aware of what he comes in with ie. phone, watch, ring, chain, sunglasses, wallet, jacket/jersey and hats and ensure your client leaves with everything he came in with. In general you should find a designated basket that is made available for your valuables and your service provider should remind you to make sure you double check that you have everything before you leave. We also tidy up the rooms while the client showers and the shower while the client gets dressed. We are always looking for watches and glasses that may be removed in the shower and return it to the client before he leaves.
Wedding rings in particular ... we don't mind if you leave them on. If you want to take it off for whatever reason please make sure you take it with you when you leave. Nothing ever got "lost" here but there's always the risk.
Thats interesting Nadia. Why on earth do married punters take off their wedding rings? Do not make sense. Maybe some married punters can shed some light?

Maybe they fear judgement from the wg?
Maybe the rings have some sought of built in spying sensors.
I never take mine off. It's only the massaging oil and a WG's scent that I worry about after a session.
