Some of us shop at Woolworths, because we know we get quality vs quantity and we get service above everything else. My opinion anyway?
So it is in this game too! Your decision will be based on your budget but in my humble opinion we have one or two ladies who provide the Woolworths experience at the Sh£¥@R$€% budget?

In actual fact we have some ladies who provide us with a HARRODS experience and to you ladies, a big thank you?

My ultimate HARRODS experience will always be Robyn..... Forever!

Mr Black

The Woolworths analogy is interesting, but I need to burst your bubble though.

Just looking at the fruit section, which makes up a large portion of their floorspace, and one would think that you are in heaven on earth just by looking at the gloriously looking fruit.

How sad then to know that the Woolworths fruit are of an inferior quality. Yes, that is correct.

The best fruit are for export. Only when it is deemed not good enough for export, will it go to Woolworths.

But then you redeemed yourself by naming Harrods, one of my favourite places to shop. There, I can assure you, everything is of the highest quality.

But to get back to the topic at hand, the packaging and presentation might be of a superior quality, but the fruit might only be hand me downs. Be careful what you buy .

Strawberries, cherries, gooseberries and grapes, perfectly ripe, are my favourite fruits.
I eat them to a surfeit in the heat of summer.

But I will not buy them from Woolies because they are kept raw on the shelf in order to prolong their sell by date.

Have you ever peeped through the bathroom door,
And caught a glimpse of Sassy Cassie's feet in the raw?

Woolies prices are a rip-off. They and over-priced WGs rely on the fact that those with more money think that spending more money on things equates to some kind of superior product.

Ben L
I believe porra has a fruit shop and is an expert on fruits. Maybe he can provide you with a couple of tips as to where to buy perfectly ripe fruits?

I miss those old porra shops where the owner was so passionate about his fruit .
Or the GREEK ( excuse the pun or the fun ) corner store that used to offer all the goodies and the Sunday paper .
Those corner stores...
Now can we really class them like a street corner SP . No..They could not speak English well but they had nice fruit ..
But unfortunately not everyone lives Greek

I've been with nearly 600 or different WGs over the years and can assure you once again on the forum, that PRICE DOES NOT EQUATE TO QUALITY!! I can think of R550 WGs in the industry who are better looking and give better service than the R2500 p/h ones.

The price punters pay is a function of the venue's pricing, or simply how much a WG think she ought to charge. Ironically the ugliest crackhead can decide to charge R2000 p/h and she'll still get clients. I've seen this!
