I did painfully accepted that we did have to reschedule once again...
This time I was the one that couldn't make it!.

A tad sad.

A tad sad because we owed to ourselves this encounter from at least two years back and because it was to be an evening encounter, I did just a lil bit more than what I do for my standardized encounters of 2 and some hours but all was wasted!.

Note, that I said just a little... As overall the whole scenery is always almost the same.

I am aiming for luxurious but without being overstated.
I just want every experience to come across as friendly and unpretentious or else the natural simplicity of our moment is lost and the magic of connection get turned in something like a fribolous show off.

For you dear Amstel
There was this edible piece of art on the coffee table, presented at my best.

In a lacquered back round box there was prawns surrounded by Pistachio, tarragon and sultana custard mayonnaise to be accompany with 'that' specific pairing wine .

The bread was served with 2 different butters. Smoked butter and with butter with hawaiian volcanic salted forming whimsical sculptures decorated with dehydrated flowers

I dare to serve fois gras...sublime for some...just in case you like it

Sparkling water and of course any drinks of your choice.

The first reason this was a bit more special is only because the second most famous chef in South Africa with several international winning awards, did teach me how to...
But the dish cost time!
The second reason is because I did make everything myself...including the butter and bread.

You would not have been drinking Amstel with such cuisine but the fact that I know that you not longer like it, was the reason for me not to stock it.
The details...flowers...candles...and me as a main course and desert, of course.

The choice of music was Cuban Bolero.

The whole deco was black and white.

I always try that no thing on offer out-shine me. I don't want to lose perspective on the main reason of our encounter either.

There were other little details too waiting to make the moment more cute -
I went to a bridal boutique 10 days ago and I was knock down impressed with their little details.
Because the location alone makes a loud statement, I guessed that even though the settings were at the simplest such place have to be right up there with the rest of the upscale lot.
just how the cappuccino was served and the choice of cup was a majestic art, even a person with no sense or careless of the finest would have stop and notice it (I didn't want to drink it but keep it forever as a memoir..lol)... there was this little gift box decorated with a diamond and silver and silk ribbons done with such refined good taste that I felt that such box has in it "that real diamond ring" that my husband to be was giving me but the gift box has the turkish delights to accompany the cappuccino.
I contacted the company that make such little presents and I ordered few hundreds for my business to give them to those that visit me, it comes no cheap though if take it against my business but then when I found out at what price any given dress of the winter collection is sell for, then those gift it only make sense if they have a Strawberry Arnaud inside!

Any way all that setting for you OupaJack went to waste because I am suffering the consequences of being too fatty for my bone structure....I damage my coccys badly 3 days ago after I did fall on my ass!!!!
Lovely!

I have been in bed for 4 days now but for the wrong reasons!

I love you dearly Oupa...

We will eventually meet again!
Special man.
