Hey Guy's,

Well it has been a long time since I have taken to the forum asking for an active response to what is going on in life.

The story is long and drawn out but basically as Dean has already alluded to things with the sale of Divine having wound up going legal. No matter what my personal view point on the matter is and the reasons he chose this route the fact remains I am left without an income from the sale of my business and brand.

Basically I have tried every route but other than an initial letter of demand from his attorney on his behalf to which there have been multiple replies and even a sheriffs notice all have gone ignored, despite it effecting his / my business.

So today I have been offered investment and an 8 bedroom 8 bathroom luxury house with all the trimmings to open a new venue.

Now I swore that I would never do it all over again but sadly keeping food on the table and a roof over my families heads is a little more important than a never. Had I gotten paid for Divine then I probably would not be even considering it.

That said I am so do you believe there is place for another Divine, one with my way of running things and in an upmarket area. Added to this a continued growth of the experience and of course my daily postings joke and quote and all?

The venue would be open within the next three weeks.

Give me your thoughts, is there still a place for me in this field or am I wasting my time?

Regards
Sean

There is a place for any venue any time as long as it meets customers expectations. :-)

I think you would do well, as I have always enjoyed coming to Divine when you were running it. The reason for this is that you are very pro active coming up with different specials, running a good establishment, etc.

Which area would you be opening this place.

If you build it, they will come !

Is there place for another Divine, no... Divine will always be that, punters have long memories. So my advice, don't be another Divine, don't be another Harem or HoE, be new, be adventurous, be bold and create something just as special in it's own way.

From a business sense, you already know what works and what doesn't... I think those pitfalls and lessons learned can be applied from the get-go in this new venture. Take the best of all the houses, from the catering levels, linens and sundries to the girls and the rules they will operate under and apply them what you already know and you will be onto a winner...

At the end of the day, if you can provide good clean high class ladies in a really nice high class environment you will onto a winner. Your rep stands, those long memories work in your favor in this case if you back it up with what you already know from experience and what you are willing to learn to ensure success.

The list of things that are important to me aren't gong to work for everyone but if you want them then let me know....

I agree. Go for it Sean. Even though i have never visited these venues before ( which i would still likd to ), a bit of competition is good for the industry.

Laat waai kwagga !

As you said: it is a long story.

My question: do you own the premises or are you renting? It seems that you are not too keen tonproceed. What would be the reasons?

In which area would it be, and according to your business plan, what kind of profits would you generate? Not real figures (that is private), i mean is it sufficient to maintain the family?

It is very difficult to advice unless i see the business plan. My advice is always: be positive but not stupid? What is the investment required in relation to your roi?

You are welcome to send info private info to my inbox if you want professional advise to a fellow punter.

It sounds like your fear of proceeding with this investment is the risk of an investment loss considering the requirements on a return- I for one would definitely be a patron of a brilliant establishment that your history is definitely an indication of Sean. Of course the ladies, security and service are the key factors- I will admit, some places are outright rubbish and I wish there was better attention given to the premises. I know you can make it happen

There was someone looking to invest in the industry on here just the other day..

Anyway if blue sky is still open I am guessing anything can work, cause that place is a shit hole of note...
