Anyone used HOE for accommodation only? I need a venue that is not like a hotel and very private to take someone. Can anyone tell me if it is nice? or recommend something similar?

Can't answer your question about how discreet they are, and if you can use there accommodation for private, best is to phone them and asked.
But why would you want to take sandwiches to a 5 star restaurant.

Yes, you can... phone the reception.
You can also try Venue4Play... in the east rand, they are very good at this type of thing.
