It's a matter of personal preference. Some guys like skinny girls and others like chubby girls. I myself have been with both and personally I prefer petite girls. If you have a lady with enormous buttocks and you do spoons or doggy with her, you're not going to get very far into her with your dick unless it is 9 inches in length (mine is only 5.5 inches, sigh...).
