Say if a 1 week trip to the Maldives was on offer, all inclusive (cocktails, good beachside accommodation, food, etc).

Good point, what would a WG charge for one weeks holiday in paradise? Would you charge?

It seems a bit obscure to pay a WG for this when they are also getting quite a lot. I suppose if the guy smells funny it would be worth charging.

Payment will be expected as she will be losing income during this time away .Best to go with a regular that you know well,the rate she charges will be considerably less (just my experience),a week or even a weekend away with a stranger where their is no chemistry could feel like forever and end up being a disaster .

The only time I think a lady MIGHT NOT charge is if she was planning on going on holiday anyway. And if she knows the client well and they click. But thats not always the case.
Garyj's spot on. I can't imagine anything worse than being on a week away with someone who is an arse....even if I was being paid. But I think JR already knows what to look out for he's taken ladies abroad before.

Seems like most guys don't expect to pay. Last year I had guys asking me to accompany them to year end functions and none of them wanted to pay "considering that they're paying for everything else"...
