I am way past seeking the good opinion of others, which simply puts you in their control. As this is a personal service, any feedback is bound to be personal. I abhor censorship with a passion, but a small suggestion may be useful, and that 's whether comments should not be restricted to first hand experience without reverting to a personal attack on the honest opinion of those who had a different experience. What I find exceptionally accomodating on your part and a bit puzzling as a "reader" is the participation in the comments of the web-"master?" of adultafrica. Is his own site so pathetic that he has to "invade" yours with infantile comments? Or is he merely seeking to "poach" advertisers from a site far superior to his own?
Also, how do you ensure that the advertisers don't arrange "phony" feedback? This, together with a personal attack on honest negative feedback may skew the feedback section so that it loses its usefulness and relevance. Good luck with your site.

Forgive the delay in my response; month end is always crazy for me. I agree that comments should be restricted to first hand experience but we have not as yet worked out a way to enforce this policy. When we implemented the comments section we believed that the people who use this facility would be mature and responsible. Alas this has not been so, it really reflects badly on the South African male population who use these services. I

Thank you for your more than satisfactory response. You have that essential ingredient to guarantee success and that is genuine and authentic care... so often missing in South African business today.
Your main difficulty of course, will be to air genuine negative feedback that your advertisers might not like. As the site grows, and as the advertisers become mature enough to realise that negative response is often more useful than empty flattery, response credibility will grow, your advertisers will use it more positively and your ability to be firm around standards will be supported. But the first few steps are always the most difficult.

Seeing that you feel that I am poaching advertising space from Escort South Africa, I will not post my site name in this advert. I am the webmaster of the site mentioned above.

The online sex industry is diverse, and as Sally pointed out competition is welcome. Our main area of focus with regards to escorts is the Durban region, and i honestly feel that Escort South Africa is on of the strongest contenders in the JHB market.

If you feel that i have invaded your site with 'comments and advertising', then my appologies, but at the end of the day my friend, i feel that the fact that a fellow webmaster puts a comment on a competitors site that was in no way defamatory to the website, is a plus for ESA, as viewed and other readers will see that this site attracts the positive attention of all, including its competitions.
