I'll be travelling the SA area pretty soon and after looking at all these gorgeous girls on these pages, I think it would be a shame to miss out on this "special" experience. I've skimmed through the phorum to collect some basic information, but I've still got some questions I hope someone will be able to answer - I'd highly appreciate it. Here you go:

I won't be travelling on my own since my fathers brother lives in SA - I'll be staying mostly with him and his family. This means I will have no rental car available I can use. Is it recommendable to use a taxi to get to the girls venues or will it raise any unwanted questions or will it be dangerous in any way? Or are there any other possibilites like clubs with pick-up service or something similar? I'd have to travel from my fathers brother's premises so I kind of will have to sneak out ;( which means I have to do it somehow discreet. Any chances - what do you think? Will the girls call me a taxi for the ride back home? I hope this question doesn't strike you as odd but I'm obviously a newbie and hope someone can help.

Furthermore, if someone is willing to drop me a mail regarding general partying or having fun in SA (I'll be near Johannesburg) - thanks a lot!! How are the chances of picking up a "regular" girl not working in the business (not necessarily for sex, but just for having fun, drinking, partying, ...)?

I sincerely hope you enjoy your stay in South Africa, I have come up with some options to assist you I hope they help!

Firstly, you really need to get a rental car, South African's are extremely accomodating and when your uncle see's a taxi arriving to collect you he will no doubt offer his assistance and drive you to your destination personally - Not a good idea.

Taxi's will collect you from your venue, most taxi drivers will wait outside until you are done and escort you home for an extra fee. Most ladies will not call a taxi for you so it is preferable that you have your own car or get the driver to wait.

You say you will be "near Johnnesburg" may I ask where exactly? As far as your non paid for conquests go, this will depend entirely on you, your age & looks.

A rental car is probably the best option for you as it gives you the freedom you need. Phone alot of the rental companies llike Budget, Hertz, Imperial, Tempest and Avis and see who can give you the best option. There are other smaller rental companies that can also give you many sweet deal but you would have to look them up in the telephone directory and enquire yourself.

I know that Budget have a really sweet deal called the weekend special. Rent a Golf Chico for R150/ day, get 350 Km a day free. The only catch is you have to have the car for at least 2 days and the Weekend is considered to be from Thursday to Monday morning. Bearing in mind there are a few additional charges like refilling the fuel tank, what insurance cover you take, delivery / collection fees it will cost roughly about R500 for 2 days ( you have given no indication of what type your budget will be ). Be careful for opting for a 1600 vehicle with P/S and A/C on this special because the daily charge becomes R199.

I am sure there are much better deals like getting a car for a cheaper daily rate but take into a account you pay per Km driven.

As for the taxi, it might be the cheaper option but it will soon become an expensive option when you start visiting quite a few girls or making frequent trips to a regular. Also the further you go the higher the Taxi bill ( again no idea of what budget you are on )

As for the picking up a friendly companion it, as Sally stipulates it will depend on your age, looks, manners, etc
