Had a few calls lately, when upon hearing my rates, they just put the phone down on me. Rather be honest, and like some guys, say straight out, sorry I can't afford it. No problem, just don't put the phone down without as much as thank you, goodbye.
By the way. My rates are reasonable. R900 hour and R550 for half hour.

Don't assume guys can't afford you, that's pretty arrogant. I don't think you fully realise what you're competing with at that range (and even less). I could try to sell my maybe 15 year old tv for R10000, doesn't mean people are broke if they don't want to buy it ;)

I would then just laugh and put the phone down myself as an SP.
Not sure now what's right. Can the punter ask questions because when he does you have a post about it and when they don't you have a post about it. Which one is rights
