Interesting to see that ESA reacts on a punter's complain and ban an advertiser. It is an effective gesture to show the both side of the business to adhere to the ethics. Some questions came to my mind, just to understand the procedure better:
- Does ESA accept such complains from any punter (against an ESA advertiser) or the person should be a "Gold" or "Real" member?
- What is the investigation and judgmental capacity of ESA?
- Will ESA cooperate with the complainant to testify if the issue goes to a formal investigation process? (through police/court, e.g to provide previous records)
- Is there such a provision in the ESA advertising agreement that ESA can ban an advertiser based on a complain from a client?
- In cases like this does ESA call both sides to hear the other side of the story as well? (comments from the ESA photographer makes me doubt about it)
- What about complains of WGs against punters? Will ESA react on them too?

Hi, I am Mr X in the conversations above.

I booked Tracey and she told me she wants R3500. I said I am willing to pay R3000 ans she accepted.

I went to draw R2000 cash and had R250 on me. My Limit for the day is R2000. I did an EFT for R750.

We got cosy and she then she is hungry need to get something to eat. She left and after some time I called her. She told me she had to pick up two girls that work for her, and then they will come back. I do have the video footage of the whole evening. I am considering laying charges.

Not sure how stealing the camera helps. Resale value of a camera (second-hand) has got to be pretty limited.

I guess if someone starts advertising a CCTV camera on the forum at a special price we will have an idea of where it came from :)

Very valid questions so I shall answer them in detail directly.

It is an extreme measure to ban an advertiser.

We accept complaints from any member irrespective of the member status of that member. We are mindful that depending on the circumstances both punters and working girls can and have been dishonest. We take that fact into account when making decisions.

In establishing what really happened, we speak to both parties and any other witnesses we are able to find. We have had instances in the past where colleagues of a working girl confirmed the punters version of events.

If matters go to the police/courts Escort South Africa will do all we can to comply and assist.

There is no provision in our advertising agreement that we can ban an advertiser but we will not be party to skulduggery from either punters or working girls. If we feel that our brand is being brought into disrepute or someone is being put into danger for any reason we will act against whomever accordingly.

In instances where punters have acted unfairly towards ladies we assist where we can.

Both sides of the story are very plausible.

What has shocked me the most about this saga is the amount of money a "poor" punter is prepared to pay for a good time - almost beyond belief. One can only imagine the number of quality girls that could be had for the money bandied around.

Tricky to work out who is right or wrong, but the punter was prepared to actually list the transactions, and so, my vote would be for him.
